The Retroactive Metamorphosis of Maverick John McCain to Be Presented to the Conservatives.

In this early season in the political scrambles and hysteria, it is time to reposition history a bit, solicit some promises, always suspect in political terms, and coax the doubters into the traps. The contestants now identified.

Hillary Clinton seems to think that she has plastered over her ugly and criminal past and has the skid marks on her skivvies to prove she has been through the wars against Capitalism, prevailed, and can survive the looming scrutiny that is part of the political landscape. Obama is ‘not ready.’[1] [2]

The Wrath of the Dragon is now upon “Obambi” as we hear from the New York Times’ Old Red Lady.[3] The Clinton Attack Machine is on full throttle and Senator Obama must brace for a major attack. Nobody gives the Clintons a reason to challenge their imperial powers as Commissars without revenge.

Apart from the leftist follies and mud chucking politics from the left, we now face the problem where Senator McCain must now be re-costumed in conservative garb and made presentable to the right. In an article from Politico.com[4], McCain seeks truce with right-wing critics, we find this article saying:

“John McCain, whose Super Tuesday performance has given him an aura of inevitability in the eyes of many Republican leaders, has begun an aggressive campaign to quell conservative dissent and prevent an outbreak of GOP buyer’s remorse.”[5]

Is this similar to forgiving the same old rabid dog for numerous bites on your backside and more than a few injections of rabies antiserum? McCain has slept with the enemy on several occasions and pandered to Democrats on such issues as illegal immigration and Supreme Court appointees. He was against tax cuts in the past, but may have reformed.

“The campaign, as described by Republican sources, has two pillars: outreach to talk-radio hosts and other conservative critics and a succession of high-profile endorsements in the coming days.”[6]

That implies that Rush can pick the next El Presidente with his golden microphone. He might just do so after listening to McCain. We might just let Obama take the economy down.

“The McCain campaign is also wooing Sean Hannity. At least two top McCain supporters, including Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), made the pitch to Hannity, who has a radio show in addition to co-hosting his nightly Fox News television program.”[7]

Didn’t Lindsey Graham join with Kennedy, McCain and Bush in an amnesty bill that was written by Kennedy and La Raza, an Hispanic Supremacy organization??

According to Haley Barbour:

“Now that the race has a clear favorite, he said, it’s time for the party to end internal wrangling. “Anything that prolongs the race is harmful,” he said. “There is no good purpose to be served by continuing to fight if he’s got it wrapped up. The opposition will just become more and more negative, more shrill[sic][8], as opposed to helpful.”[9]

Helpful for what??

“The most important moment to date in this new effort will come on Thursday, when McCain addresses the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington — an annual event that brings together the right-wing family and one that McCain very publicly skipped last year.”[10]

What about the issues that rankle the right?? Are we to assume that since McCain has grabbed a major chunk of the delegates and Mitt Romney is rumored to soon drop out of the contest, we can join with the left-liberal Democrats on issues important to conservatives? Where does McCain now stand on Global Warming Farce [11], First Amendment rights, the Gang of 14 and other traitorous excursions from the right or middle?

Will he give in on some of these issues or will he just remain ‘stubborn’ and insist he is ‘right’ even though he is actually ‘left.’ What will he say to CPAC?[12]

Are we to be thrilled that we now have somebody who can ‘reach across the isle’ and embrace the Marxist legislative stratagems of the High-Anus of Hyanis or his minions? Apparently, we are offered the threats of:

[1] Embracing the liberal-inspired McCain version of liberal government or, by failing to wax obsequious before McCain, or,…

[2] Enabling Obama or [Clinton] to promote and sign the same legislation and policy changes that McCain endorses and let the Democrats crash in the pile of rubble that will surely ensue from this socialist plan.

Isn’t that like being offered the choice of digging your own grave in the morning light or later in the hot sun?

The psychotic quest for higher and higher taxes by the liberals while promoting 800 billion in new spending and while ‘balancing’ the budget is at the very center of the Democrat’s Marxist schemes. We can all have low-cost health care, pass all our citizens through high school and college and much more. All we have to do is to Tax the Rich! All this splendor and grandeur will transpire while we recover the lost jobs in the auto industry and cuddle 21,000,000 new Hispanic voters who will vote Democrat.

So, what, if anything, will McCain back off on?? Is this an ultimatum?

If so, he can pound sand while the rest of us vote for Obama and let the far left deal with the recession, inflation and collapse of our manufacturing base while celebrating high oil prices. When dealing with the sordid left, my spine is too stiff to bend to crap like this.

McCain is an Idiot. His gurglings before CPAC will demonstrate that.
