Lost Into the Mouth of the Pigs: Welfare, Great Society, Sanctuary Cities, and now Fanny Mae.

Lost Into the Mouth of the Pigs: Welfare, Great Society, Sanctuary Cities, and now Fanny Mae.

The world economic community, certainly not homogeneous or equitable has certain infected warts that plague the local hosts. Dealing with the ‘poor’ and others who cannot or will not deal with our societies is a 7,000 year old project that has not been successful in most cases. In the US we have selected to give out money to the poor, criminals, losers, drug addicts and others for humanitarian reasons. We are generous with health care, food stamps, education, drug rehab and criminals in terms of treatment.

The basis of the futility of the efforts is the nostrum equal outcomes. The general difficulty in allocating wealth is that people are not equal and do not have equal abilities to generate wealth and financial success on an equitable level that would provide a minimal existence to those at the bottom of the inevitable pyramid. Purely because we exist on this planet and have the cognitive skills and business acumen, work ethic and other positive attributes we should share part of our capitalist loot with the less fortunate. This is an ethical position.

The capitalists, obviously, drive the economic engines of this planet and they pay huge taxes for this privilege. There are massive risks associated   in forming and executing corporations in that most corporations or businesses fail within 5 years.  This statistic requires that business people plan to close unsuccessful businesses and restructure assets, resources and capital to try again in a different venture. Thus, capitalism is self-healing in that it cuts loses and losers and places them at the bottom of the economic ladder purely based on their record. Government is the opposite. Most governments have massive and ineffective organs that are sloppy, inefficient, and counterproductive and remain mired in the sty as pigs in the mud. Failure is not a metric that can alter their leadership or existence. Our government has agencies such as HUD and others with dismal failure as their best achievements and they still exist.

The pyramid system is an intrinsic element in our society in that no society has ever existed without leaders and they control most of the wealth. The USSR was an attempt, early on, to share the fruits of industry with the workers, but that failed when collectivized farms and such were structured and dissidents sent to the gulags.  The Bolshevik Dream of the proletariat running businesses vanished and the Communist Party, limited to about 4% of the population, soaked up the remaining wealth and lived in splendor as they conducted purges and expanded the gulags. This was the Red Pyramid. The liberals are working on the Pink Pyramid as we read this.

The main objection to the pyramid system is that too much money and power is concentrated in  the hands of a few and that the pyramid must be flattened so as to include all of the populations of the local societies and even be extended to the world as Senator Obama has preached.

So, how do you do this? “Education” is not the answer as spending on education can be doubled with no discernable effect on the outcome.   No, in all cases some form of tax must be applied by governments or indirectly by social agencies to supply money and, now, private property to the masses. This is the sorry case of Fanny Mae and her retarded brother Frumpy Fred. The process of ‘sharing’ through granting is summed up by the Greenlining Institute and reports to Congress.[1] This is a Marxian styled advocacy group that finds ways to give wealth to minorities and ‘the poor’ from capitalism. There is no demand for competency, responsibility  or decent conduct in these grants. This is similar to the leftist’s notions about high school: if 50% drop out then we will just pay for college. In reality, this is just a welfare project where people with poor credit and unacceptable life styles are given real estate as a gratuity for their votes. It is simple fraud and poor business.  Sen. Christopher Dodd and others routinely receive large financial donations [bribes] to keep the sty well watered and sticky and the tax money flowing into these special political projects. Criminals like the former FM Chief executive Franklin D. Raines appear in the failure analysis when we discuss bunglers [2] who milk the system for millions of dollars to the wild applause of the rabid left.  Jamie Gorelick — Clinton Justice Department official — worked for Fannie and took home $26 million.”[3] Many of these social parasites now work for Obama. [4]This is just another left-liberal tax scheme. These people are Clinton whores.

The question arises: are we going to fix a system where capital is wasted on people who cannot handle it? Are we going to continue to subsidize housing for illegal aliens, drug addicts, criminals who cannot or will not work? The answer to this question lies in how the credit system is changed if, indeed, the Democrats will allow it. What is wrong with the current outcome here? The ‘poor’ get housing, at least for a while, and cannot take out equity loans for TVs, cars and such before they default and the tax payer eventually  picks up the bill. This process is just fine with the left and they will resist any attempts to tighten up credit regulations. Their existence in the political arena depend upon the reality that they must trade tax revenues for votes.

As for the Democrats:

"This is a wholly owned problem in terms of its creation by the failed Bush policy, ... their anything-goes approach to our economy," House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi[5] told reporters on Thursday.”[6] [Emphasis is mine in all quotes]

This is an outrageous lie, of course, and typical of the left. The fact is that greenlining policies led to Fanny Mae and her smaller sibling being a mere slush fund to soak up bad debt caused by offering real estate to incompetents and criminals. This is a Democrat program and worked exactly as they predicted. Any losers in the system would be compensated by the tax payers and winners would be grateful and be example of egalitarian leftist social programs.

Look for a wild circus act that will do or say anything to keep this form of fraud working for the liberals.  This is just one more way that the left will grunt and grab anything they can get away from capitalists. The phony Global WarmingClimate Change[7] is merely another tax whoring scheme that the liberals wildly support. Al Gore is the new Lysenko.[8]

There is no end to the tax-whoring schemes of the left and we must notice that if they phony programs fail then that is okay too as they will keep grunting and grabbing for our wealth as long as there is one dollar loose from their control.

Let us see what kind of ‘fix’ we are offered for these failed social programs and if bad credit can still be used to extract money from our society. My bet is that phony slush funds like Fanny Mae will not be significantly altered as the left desperately needs the votes.  We saw what happened when we tried to dismantle the failures of the Great Society, War on Poverty, HHS, HUD and busing. We should not have rescued this current wreckage as it just serves to expand the pig sty and act as a latrine to waste more taxpayer revenues. Market forces need to sort out these real estate blunders. [9]

When the government assumes control of these worthless mortgages they will be the default manager of the failures of the left. We will be stuck with subsidizing failure as we do in the welfare system and many spots in education and government service. This is just another worthless and counterproductive tax that we must pay. Thank the liberals for another success on their part.

And excerpts from the Washington Post.

[4] “Even when Fannie Mae was being mishandled, those at the helm, i.e. corrupt Clinton appointees, Franklin Raines, and Jim Johnson, took multi-million dollar bonuses before they left the company in a shamble. According to Democrat Barney Frank, $245 million in bonuses were paid over five years to Fannie Mae executives (mostly Clinton appointees).”
