The End of Clintoonery. [Or is it??]

The End of Clintoonery. [Or is it??]

The New York Times, an immortal mechanism, is like a giant windmill that turns massively to the left and launches fecal missiles in all directions against the capitalists. This behemoth had first endorsed The Second Clinton, then dumped her for something farther to the left and then trashed her for not bowing out. She is still around?-- wonders The Old Red Lady?[1] The Times machine had simply identified a better candidate and made the proper political move to trade up and flake off a mistake as the political  fortunes dictated. This is standard politics.  Not all politics is local. Now, there is a residual effect that needs to be addressed: Some people cannot learn how to play the political game.  Or is that true?

The Prime Mover of this juggernaut is the eternal mandate to glorify any political candidate anywhere to the left of Lenin  while furiously attacking any opponent that might oppose their sacred Marxist  icon or his precepts. They had originally endorsed and praised Hillary based on her strong Saul Alinsky credentials and narrow political training. They tilted in that direction   in the hope that she would lead to an anointment, as The One, until someone farther to the left emerged from the chaos. But, she was ‘sorta’ for the war, a foremost basis for rejection for any person to run for office or own property in the US according to the New York Times, the Walter Duranty Memorial Papers. [2] She tried to sucker the moderates by straddling the fatal middle rail of the  war issue.  Obama, also a Saul Alinsky communist devotee, had the good sense to throw in with Bill Ayers and his radical racists and terrorists, to attract the windy powers of the Old Gray Lady and take the nod. He was always against hunting down terrorists, strong allies of the left since 1989.

The NYT dumped her for this outrage.

To wit, from the Riches of the past works of Frank Rich:[3] [4]

“By telling an Iowa audience on Tuesday night that he had opposed the Iraq war “from the beginning,” Bill Clinton committed a double pratfall[5]. Not only did he refocus attention on his wife’s most hazardous issue, Iraq, just as it was receding as the nation’s Topic A, but he also revived unhappy memories of the truth-dodging nadirs of the Clinton White House” [Emphasis is mine in all quotes.]

I guess all the Clinton devotion t o the party went up in a puff of smoke.  Rank this one as being slimed.

This is a strange issue as the NYT stodgily defended Billy during the Lewinsky perjuries. But, that was then.

After one correct prediction we need more information from the sages:

It’s not just that her candidacy’s central premise — the priceless value of “experience” — was fatally poisoned from the start by her still ill-explained vote to authorize the fiasco. Senator Clinton then compounded that 2002 misjudgment by pursuing a 2008 campaign strategy that uncannily mimicked the disastrous Bush Iraq war plan. After promising a cakewalk to the nomination — “It will be me,” Mrs. Clinton told Katie Couric in November — she was routed by an insurgency.[6]—Frank Rich[7] February 24, 2008.

Thus, the juggernaut pivots on its most important sing le issue: the War on Terrorism.

The Clintons, realistically, should have read the history of the View Nam war where the liberals were shooting drugs in the streets and waving the enemy flag at the gates of the San Diego Naval Station and chanting jeers.  They wanted the US to lose in View Nam as they do in Iraq.

The Old Red Lady was blunter:

““The time has come. The time has come. The time is now. Just go. ... I don’t care how. You can go by foot. You can go by cow. Hillary R. Clinton, will you please go now! You can go on skates. You can go on skis. ... You can go in an old blue shoe.

Just go, go, GO!””,--Maureen Dowd March 31, 2008

.. ..a toxic screed that we have heard before from the Times [8] Rank this one as a double slime job.

So, now the Clintons are finished. But, driven by revenge, being an Arkansas staple like rice and red beans, Hillary can pose and prance and stick it to Obama if he loses with: I told you so!!

Hillary can now be the gracious loser, offer to help the party and rip his lungs out later, in the old Clintoonery style. Obama is festooned with disgusting racists anyway and has offended the whites he needs to be elected. Hillary can blame him for that too. Nobody likes a racist unless he makes some kind of political sense.

But, somebody has to pony up the 41 million bucks Hillary blew in her windy tilt with the Old Gray Lady Wind machine’s solemn blessings. Maybe she didn’t read Frank Rich as she should. He is actually a minion and she is accustomed to chuck a few tidbits to scurrilous little beings like him and dismiss the annoyance.  Hillary did learn to ‘tolerate’ Maureen Dowd for a while, but that was years ago.

But, now:

It’s never going to end,” sighed one Democrat who has been advising Hillary. “We’re just moving to a new phase.”[9]

Hillary wants something, but many are uncertain just what that is.

 From Dowd we read:

She just urged her supporters to keep the dream alive, and talked privately about what she would settle for. She has told some Democrats recently that she wanted Obama to agree to allow a roll call vote, like days of yore, so that the delegates of states she won would cast the first ballot for her at the convention. She said she wanted that for her daughter. [Emphasis is mine in all quotes.]

Obama supporters are worried that it’s a trick and she’ll somehow snatch away the nomination. Just as Hillary supporters have hardened toward him, many of Obama’s donors and fans have hardened against the Clintons, saying it would be disillusioning to see them on a ticket that’s supposed to be about fresh politics.”[10]

We know what it is: power. Next time, the Walter Duranty Papers[11] ought to vet their candidate and avoid such problems as Hillary. But, then, did they know about Jeremiah Wright?? Oh well, there is always next time.

Wake up America, the bungling Republicans still have a chance to retain the White House.
