Pathologies of Liberalism I.
Liberalism is a virile collective sickness that pervades our society in many ways. Left-liberals are intent on changing our nation for the worse. They have nothing constructive to offer society. The question is not why this happens or what can be done to cure the inflicted, rather the proper question to ask is: how do we identify these people and highlight them for all to see and prevent them from doing more damage. They, like crack addicts or sexual predators cannot be rehabilitated it seems. They are functionally lost to society and constitute little more than a tax burden to the rest of us. They appear to exist only as some form of parasitic entity. But, they preach all about changes along with tax hikes, of course .
Liberalism is based almost entirely on the subject of morality, or more accurately, the defiance and denial of all forms of this necessary attribute. The modern liberal blames the ‘corporate state’ for nearly all their problems. Much of this stems from the rants of Charles Reich, a druggie from Harvard who published his strange book The [Gan]greening of America. Here he mumbles incoherently about ‘consciousness’’ in three levels that describe the progression from morality, the work ethic to the ideal leftist citizen each phase presenting an opportunity to show that any opposition to the corporate state is bound to yield freedom, justice and social stability. The general emphasis here is to change this nation by eliminating or closely supervising all activities of this self-constructed demon that haunts the left. Micromanagement in Cambodian terms is indicated. They fume at the thought that there are unacceptable modes of conduct that may require correction. Sloth, sodomy, drug addiction, sex with children and such are actually praised by the left and they even have parades in San Francisco. They have no modes of morality that are recognizable by any decent society, take exception to anyone who points out their immoral actions on their part or for any other known humans in any period of history. They fume at the thought of punishment for crime. The prisons are full of criminals who get unlimited support from the left. The phony Charles Reich praises marijuana and other psychoactive drugs, for recreational purposes, as a leaning tool that somehow gives enlightenment. At this writing, our jails have 1,000,000 drug-crazed criminals among who are many adherents of this social parasite. The other million are hard-core criminals many of whom used addictive drugs. Many hard-core murderers have had several dozen arrests and several trials before serving any hard time. Since the 60s, we now house a million drug offenders. These drugs were supposed to ‘educate’ and ‘open the minds’ of their comrades so as to recognize the dangers of the corporate state. Drugs have ruined their lives and the left wants to legalize more and more drugs. This is what we inherited from the feel-good society of druggies.
Liberalism began with J. J. Rousseau immediately before the French Revolution where he distinguished himself as a moocher, coward, parasite and severe critic of the upper classes of society. He published his book Emile that purported to show how to educate children although he sent five of his own illegitimate children [by his mentally challenged house maid] to the Foundling Hospital in Paris to starve to death. This was a ‘progressive’ form of abortion before the process became streamlined in Sweden and the US. He hated the French aristocracy, capitalism and commerce and urged the citizens to get back to the society of the ‘Noble Savage.’ Here, inner peace and justice would pervade in the absence of organized society. That failed.
From the disgusting degeneracy of the founder of the sordid left we progress to a series of destructive activists that tend to undermine the world economy by attacking capitalism directly. Marx proposed some phony theory of economics that ignores supply and demand laws and substitutes some hierarchy to force a command economy. The penalty for ignoring such economic fundamentals is a warped, unstable system that produces surplus or shortages for all items under command control and we have seen these predictions come true in the Communist states that crashed and have become almost outmoded. The remaining Marxist states such as Cuba, North Korea and several dozen spots in Africa still draw a devoted audience that offers baseline support and wild praise for this failed system. The murder of 20,000,000 Kulaks for opposing Stalin after the Russian Revolution is not a subject for discussion among the left. The hilarious failure of the Great Leap Forward, which turned out to be a Giant Leap Backward and its aftermath is ignored. The Soviet holocaust in the Ukraine is also ignored. When the howls for justice emit from a crowd of liberals there is no mention of the conspicuous absence of a USSR War Crimes Tribunal. The liberals ignore the past. They ignore the future as well. They want your taxes to fund their drug-besotted society. They don’t care if their methods fail as long as they grab your money.
The liberal thus places the ultimate emphasis on the intrinsic imperfections of society and heaps all blame on those who somehow attained success. If you have more than the average then that is proof of your guilt in this matter. Those to blame are always in some way connected with the corporate state. Moscow Central Planning, proffered as a solution to distribution of resources is never discussed truthfully as a key example of a source of economic bungling of huge natural resources that kept Russia a peasant nation while other countries emerged from World 1 and the Great Depression with great success. No matter that leftist solutions to social problems [Marxism, War on Poverty, Busing, Affirmative Action, Great Society, welfare, midnight basketball, busing, etc.] have failed miserably, the howl is for the condemnation of any organization that has wealth and power with the concomitant demand for total control of all assets. The very existence of citizens who have average wealth, above some arbitrary level, as defined by the left, of course, is necessary and sufficient proof of crimes against humanity such as economic violence, racism, starvation and worse. Here, we can review the 74 year history of the USSR that suffered from these same defects and not find any condemnation of their Marxist methods. 100,000,000 dead since 1917 and no apology comes from the left. The left is never wrong, only hungry for the money and power of others. They cannot provide jobs and wealth using their methods. Indeed, we hear from emotional leftists that they ‘didn’t have a chance to implement ‘pure’ Marxism,’ which implies that we need to keep trying until success is achieved. The New York Times routinely runs articles that praise the murdering Marxist dictator Fidel Castro. The only good thing the left can say about a social parasite and failure like Fidel Castro is that Cuba has a wonderful healthcare system, Of course, it does not. They cannot afford simple blood tests for their citizens. They said the same about the USSR when the party members flew to Switzerland or England or elsewhere for their serious medical needs.
The liberals have seized upon reverse racism to advance their causes. Reverse discrimination has been the main thrust of attempting to obtain equal outcomes for minorities and others who cannot compete. When LBJ asked why the Great Society failed, the reply was outlined in low test scores of those who were to benefit from the program. The left went berserk at the reiteration of very old information [published in 1905] that standardized tests produce different results for groups when sorted by race. Those who were the subject of social assistance programs could not compete in academia or the job market. It did not amuse the left that Asians score higher on IQ tests than common whites and that Jews also had averages in the range 100-102. The obvious response to this was to suggest that tests be abandoned or rewritten and affirmative action remedies be implemented to obtain equality of outcomes. Testing is now the major threat to the liberal notion of education and jobs. As such, they try to defeat or adjust test scores or resort to court actions to get those with lower scores into jobs that require higher cognitive skills. Standardized test results will expose the defects in the leftist-dominated educational system in the US and suggest that things change and incompetents be fired or jailed. The unions and their Marxist allies fill fight this to the bitter end. Apparently we ought to choose our brain surgeons by lot or by racial quotas.
The left-liberals now embrace freak show environmentalism by claiming that the weather is changing and will somehow doom the earth by 2075 or so. A while back it was global cooling and then Nuclear winter and other such nonsense. Not that we might suspect something of an alternative agenda from this pack of leftists, drug addicts, ex Communists, druggies, parasites and tax whores. Here, algore, <i>Commie Stooge</i>, who tried to secure campaign funds from the Red Army via some hooky Buddhist Monkery and then lied about it, now thinks that Red China and India need a ‘pass’ on the proposed radical changes to our use of energy. Is this a payback? Between algore and his phony father, who worked for a famous Communist [Armand Hammer, whose father founded the Communist Party USA] , we see a solemn and persistent dedication to Marxism. In fact, a close inspection of several leftist political leaders [The Clintons, Gore, Kennedy, Fonda, Sontag, Hellman, …] we see a long and comfortable alliance in the fight against freedom, democracy and capitalism.
The pathologies of the left can be noted both from the proffered notions of their leaders, but also from the lifestyles and personal habits and personas of the left. We witness many disgusting statements, perverse acts, outright lies and excuses from perverted persons such as Allan Ginsburg, Burrows, Lillian Hellman, William Clinton and more. It is of interest to watch the physical antics of persons like Howard Dean to see his bipolar disease flower in front of the camera. Dean flips and flops throughout emotional extremes in a classic, textbook example of bipolar disease. He exhibits mania, hypomania, mixed states alternating with clinical depression and euthymic states. He is frantic, depressed, frustrated and fatalistic in his attempts to destroy any part of the American society that he can. Dean’s pathologies show us how many liberals deal with hopelessness, frustration and failure. These pathologies are substituted for the work ethic, educational success and morality. Such conduct is praised by the left.
Liberalism teaches and encourages criminals, the insane, perverts and others to make inane statements against our society. Liberalism tolerates and encourages criminals like Jesse Jackson to become rabble rousers. Liberalism promotes crime, drug addiction, AIDS, deviate sexual activity, kiddy porn and worse.
When the dedicated adherents and minions of liberalism gain firm control of a city, the outcome is certain to be like that of New Orleans, San Francisco, Baltimore or Philadelphia. Here, the crime, corruption, sanction of criminality, drug sales and addictions and worse form the basis of the administration—not the targets of law as they should be. San Francisco, for example, is a social cesspool with a long history of white slavery, Asian slavery, drug addiction, sloth, sodomy, AIDS celebrations, and worse. For business reasons, the tourist is shielded from the disgusting and perverted practices in the suburbs, North Beach and the Mission District. Baltimore is worse. Oakland is far worse. No act of degeneracy is too disgusting to be hailed as praiseworthy by the sordid left and their Islamo-Fascist allies.
The leaders of the far left are ideally insulated from any norms or morality or law and their actions are sanctioned and even celebrated by the liberals. They are exalted elites beyond criticism as they proffer the ‘correct’ political message. We wonder how the likes of Allen Ginsburg, Dr. Timothy Leary, Edward Kennedy, Jesse Jackson, Susan Sontag and Lillian Hellman can be admired by anyone with even a moderate association with humanity, justice or morality. We can provide numerous examples of the sordid actions of Senator Kennedy, among them lying, murder, cheating on college exams, substance abuse, public drunkenness and pugnacious activities in cheap west side bars in New York City that produce no comment from liberals. The Clintons can (both) lie under oath and evade court actions, sell government privileges for money including the Lincoln Bedroom and perform as stooges for the Communists from North Korea while accumulating millions and remain blameless in the eyes of the liberals, who control the Party of Democrats with an iron fist. They rail against the ‘rich,’ but have amassed 40,000,000 dollars to date with more probably hidden in the Clinton Library in Arkansas. Hillary can hatch numerous obvious and outrageous lies and evade any criticism from the dedicated left. Her actions in college as a Saul Alinsky radical and Marxist have been cover up. The liberal media refuse to broach such subjects with the Clintons. Our media system is corrupt, biased and criminal.
The left exuberantly supported the Black Panthers in their criminal activities in the 60s and 70s and celebrated them as ‘freedom fighters’ and even found Angela Davis innocent of involvement in the Marin County courtroom massacre even though she brought along the guns. The SDS and Weathermen were hailed a leaders of a new society. The leftist jury thought that she did not know what the guns might be used for. Liberals spit on US soldiers returning from Viet Nam, waved the North Vietnamese flag, sang leftist war songs and threw rocks at buses of sailors in San Diego. Jane Fonda is considered a heroine to the left even after her support of Ho in North Viet Nam during the war.
In the War on Terrorism, the left have continually attempted to support the Islamo-Fascists at every opportunity. They criticize the Guantanamo Bay for maltreatment of war prisoners and have got some limited support form the US Supreme Court although there is no legal precedent for this from the hundreds of thousands of war prisoners we have processed in nearly 200 year. They call our soldiers Nazis, praise Osama bin Laden, undermine our troops, and publish any military secret that will damage our war against the terrorists and more. Any enemy of the United States is a functional ally of the left. They need help that badly.
The left-liberals have a brown-streak level of history of failure since the French Revolution. I wonder if we could search for a few flop house winos and get some soothsayer to diving the scrapings off their shoes as a new set of ideas for liberalism to proceed. As an alternative, we could survey some mental institutions for clarification.
